Empowering Adivasi Girls through education Opportunities
About
ASK operates a hostel, Lydia Home, for high school and college-going girls in Valsad city, Gujarat, India. The hostel was established in 2007 with 12 students, primarily supporting Adivasi girls from rural areas who aspire to pursue higher education in urban settings.
Currently located in a rented apartment, the hostel provides safe accommodation and nutritious meals. In addition to basic facilities, residents are supported through programs that encourage social development, digital literacy through computer access, and skill-building activities such as tailoring.
At present, the hostel accommodates 22 girls, continuing to support their educational journey and overall development.
